在我国大西北崎岖不平的广袤土地上，生活着一个古老的游牧民族——哈萨克族。他们不仅能歌善舞，热情好客，还骁勇善战，擅长骑射。与此同时，“金雕捕猎”作为哈萨克民族独有的技艺，也让世人啧啧称奇。

There lives an ancient nomad tribe on the rugged expanse of our country ——kazak. People there are good at singing and dancing with great hospitality, and they are also brave warriors who are good at riding and shooting. At the same time, the "Golden Eagle Hunt" which is a unique national skill also amazes the world.

桀骜不驯，豪爽倔强，似乎是哈萨克族人的天性。彪悍的捕猎能力，更是他们生命的图腾。广阔无边的草原之上，骑着天山骏马，手托霸气苍鹰，他们就是天地间至情至性的热血儿女。口哨中吹响的，是欢快的生命赞歌，与鹰共舞，就是驯鹰人永恒的梦想。

Defiant, generous and stubborn, these seem to be the nature of the kazakh. The wild hunting skill is the totem of their life. On the vast prairie, they ride the good houses with arrogant eagles in hand. They are the warm blood singing the song of life on their land, and dancing with eagles is the eternal dream of falconers.

北疆地区，常年冰天雪地，无法开垦梯田，虽然不是荒漠，但算是一片贫瘠的土地。所以在这里，驯养野生鹰狩猎是一项生存技能。

In the northern Xinjiang, there is too much snow all the year round to reclaim terraces. It’s not desert, but it’s a piece of barren land. So, it’s a survival skill to domesticate the eagles there.

驯鹰不是一件容易的事，不仅需要世代相传的独特技法，同时还需要成年累月的严苛练习。金雕本身十分凶猛，是世界上捕猎效率最高的动物之一。与如此危险的动物配合，就需要驯鹰人拥有无比的智慧与勇气。现如今，优秀的金雕猎人已经越来越少。

It’s not an easy thing to domesticate eagles, which not only needs special skills spread for generations, but also needs years’ strict practice. The golden eagles are extremely wild who is one of the most effective animals for hunting. Working with such violent animals needs great wisdom and bravery. Today, excellent golden eagle trainers have been less and less.

金斯别克就是一位当地的驯鹰人。驯鹰的习俗从他的祖上一代代传下来，而今，他也把这份技术传给自己的孩子。在他看来，这项本领代表了哈萨克族人民的信仰与文化，是智慧、勇气与决心的体现，他们有责任和义务保护这些睿智又珍贵的物种，同时将驯鹰这门技艺永久的传承下去。

Jen Spek is a local falconer. There has been generations’ practice of domesticating the eagles, and now he has passed the skills to his children. In his opinion, this skill shows the faith and culture of the Kazak people, which presents the wisdom, bravery and determination. They are responsible to protect the wise and precious species and pass the skill of domesticating eagles forever.
