男耕女织的生活，已经不属于我们这个年代。但是89年的唐冠华和她的妻子邢振却在崂山深处实现了这样田园生活。在深山中开辟土地，改建房屋，种菜、养殖、纺织、纳鞋、发电……自给自足。

Gone were the age when men tilling the farm and women weaving. However, there is a couple who has achieved their rural dream deep in Laoshan Mountain. Tang Guanhua and his wife Xing Zhen opened up a new land in the mountain where they can build houses, plant vegetables, breed, weave, make shoes, generate eletricity......to achieve self-sufficiency.

唐冠华有多重身份，艺术家、志愿者、生态建筑家，甚至于发明家。他以对生命、自然的反思在2009年与爱人发起“家园计划“，目标是建设自给自足的生态社区，从房屋建设到清洁能源，从种地养鸡到手工制造，目的是让自然的能量流经人类再回到自然。

Tang Guanhua has multiple identities such as the artist, volunteer, ecological architect and even the inventor. The introspection to life and nature evoked their idea of ‘Another Land’ which aims to set up a self-sufficient ecological community from houses to clean energy, from farming to handmaking, and the purpose is to allow the energy cycles between heman and the nature.

“家园计划”是一个涉及生态环保和人道主义的民间公益计划。这座崂山半山腰上的小院儿，还有这间自给自足实验室，承载了唐冠华夫妻远离喧嚣，回归自然的梦想和理念。

‘Another Land’ is a public welfare plan involving ecological environmental protection and humanitarian. The courtyard halfway of Laoshan Mountain and the self-sufficient laboratory have carried their dream of keeping away from the hustle and bustle and the philosophy of returning to nature.

梦想的道路，总是坎坷的。从小在城市长大的唐冠华，五谷不分，如今却是建筑、农业、生态的多栖专家。而且幸运的是，在这条路上，他不是孤独的。“家园计划”吸引了来自全国各地的志愿者，他们的年龄有大有小，为了一个共同的目标为之奋斗。甚至还迎来了德国工程师西蒙的加入，他对这种环保生活特别感兴趣，于是带领着志愿者们，用木头、铁管等材料纯手工打造了一台风力发电机。

It’s always bumpy on the way to your dreaming destination. Tang Guanhua has been growing up in the city who is evenunable to distinguish grain from wheat, but now he is a multi-field expert of architecture, agriculture, and ecology. While he is not alone because he is lucky enough to have attracted many a volunteer into his ‘Another Land’ where there are the old and the young from all walks of life who are struggling for the same goal, and even attracted the German engineer Simon to join who is really interested in this kind of environmental life. Then they lead the volunteers to make a wind generator using the materials like wood, iron pipes by their own hand.

男主外女主内，在唐冠华夫妻身上体现的淋漓尽致。唐冠华和朋友们一起研究房屋的搭建，收集废弃的瓶子作为保温层，将一辆自行车改造成了发电机，还造了一台洗衣机、一块太阳能电池板，以及一台小型风力发电机。现在整个屋子的电力就是通过太阳能电池板的收集和自行车发电储备来的。而妻子邢振则是负责生活用品的实验开发，剥麻纺线，制鞋子、衣服、肥皂……，最近邢振打算养一些蚕宝宝，这样就可以做一些桑蚕丝的衣服来穿了。

The breadwinner-homemaker family style has been fully presented on them. Tang Guanhua studies with his friends about how to build houses. They collect discarted bottles as the insulating layer, and they converted a bike into a electric generator. Now all electricity is from the collection of solar panels and the bicycle power reserve. And his wife XingZhen is responsible for experimental development of daily uses such as spinning line, shoes, clothes, soap......Recently XingZhen has been intending to grow silkworms so that they can wear mulberry silk clothes.

迄今为止，“家园计划”已经不止崂山一个实验室。从天津、武汉、北京、上海，再到美国奥斯汀、日本名古屋，这种自给自足的生活方式，已经流转世界。

As of today, the ‘Another Land’ has been spread to various cities like Tianjin, Wuhan, Beijing, Shanghai, Austin of America and Nagoya of Japan, which is also a lifestle that has been popular all over the world.

唐冠华表示，他是一个极普通的人，可能大家有的，他都没有。而他这一项目可能仅仅就是抛砖引玉，筑巢引凤。并且，这一项目既不是为了宣扬一种苦行的生活方式，也不是为了抛弃现代化的成果，而是为生活在现代都市社会的人探索出另一种生活方式。

Tang Guanhua said he is an ordinary person who doesn’t own the things that the others have, and what he is doing now is just breaking the ice. Besides, this projest is neither for promoting the ascetic lifestyle nor for giving up the moedern lifestyle, but for seeking an outlet as another way of life for the modern people.
