云南是野生动植物的天堂，云南野生动物园便建在一片原始森林中。一个90后姑娘，每天和萌萌的小狮子、小老虎生活在一起，把它们当做家人般温柔相待，她叫周新健，一个从小就喜欢猛兽的姑娘。

Yunnan is the heaven of the wild animals, and the Yunnan wildlife Park is built in a wild forest. A girl after 90s lives with the cute baby lions and tigers and treats them as family members. Her name is Zhou Xinjian, a girl who loves beasts from an early age.

毕竟是一个二十几岁的姑娘，每日与猛兽朝夕相处，这份工作让她的父母十分担心。但是周新健却一再坚持，一是喜欢，二是乐趣。这份在别人眼中的危险职业，对她而言却充满了温柔与甜蜜。抱着坚持与喜爱，她成了云南野生动物园的狮虎驯养师。

Her parents are quite worried about her, but she insists on it because she loves this job which is full of fun. In the eyes of others this is such a dangerous job, but for her it is full of tenderness and sweetness. It is the perseverance and passion for this job that make her the trainer of lions and tigers in the Yunnan wildlife Park.

看起来凶猛的老虎却像猫咪一样，在周新健的手下滚来滚去，萌态十足。她说：“这些看似凶猛的动物在你慢慢融入它们的生活中以后，它们能感知到你的温暖和爱，虽然它们不会人类的语言，但也会通过肢体互动来和你交流。”与这类猛兽相处，是一件浪漫的事情，朝夕相处下来，会慢慢变成不可分割的朋友。

The seemingly violent tiger rolls around like a kitty under Zhou Xinjian’s hands. She said: “these seemingly wild animals come into your life and gradually melts under your love, they cannot speak but they can communicate with you by gestures.” It’s a romantic thing to get along with the wild animals and they will be an inseparable friend of you with time.

作为驯养师，周新健的工作并不轻松。对这些小萌兽，她需要拿出足够的耐心和勇气，每天花大量的时间和这些小家伙互动。早上，她早起为小动物们准备好所需的牛肉，并且根据不同的身体状况配比营养。定期配合兽医为它们检查身体保证健康，同时需要做好每只小萌兽的成长记录。晚上，下班的周新健总会依依不舍，因为那些可爱小家伙都会隔着笼子张望着她离去的身影……每天的分别，居然成了最难过的事情。

It’s not easy to be an animal trainer which needs a lot of patience and bravery. She spent a lot of time with them every single day. In the morning, she prepares breakfast according to their physical conditions. Also, she gives them periodical checkups to ensure their health and at the same time to record them as their growing traces. In the evening, she will be too attached to part when see the lovely faces through the cages...... The everyday separate has become the most trying part of her life.

相比每日短暂的分开，最让周新健和这些可爱的小家伙不能忍受的，是长期的离别。周新健只能和它们相处8个月，之后则由成年驯养师照顾。

While compared with the everyday separate, it’s more suffering to separate forever. Zhou Xinjian can only get along with them for 8 months, and then the animals will be sent to the adult trainers.

对老虎而言，8个月的时间，相当于人类从婴儿到6岁左右，周新健像它们的妈妈一样，用温暖和爱呵护着它们的成长。对周新健而言，分开不代表结束，这些小家伙遇见一个更好的驯养师是她由衷的心愿。

For tigers, eight months is equal to a six-year-old child, just like Zhou’s mom, she protects them and sees them growing. And it’s not the end for her, because to get a better trainer for the cute animals has been her sincere wish.

在云南野生动物园里，这些野生动物有了一个更合适的栖息空间。在这些有爱的驯养师面前，它们展现了可爱温和的一面，与人相比，动物的纯粹和灵性反而能给人带来最直接的爱。这值得每个人去反思，尊重每一个生灵，就是在尊重人类本身的尊严。

In the Yunnan Wildlife Park, the wild animals are access to a better place for living. Being with the kindly trainers makes them warm and full of love. Compared with human being, the pureness and spirituality of the animals will bring us more direct love, which deserves deep introspection from each of us. Respecting every single life is respecting ourselves.
